Sluggish performance in game. HELP

I get sluggish performance during the game Die Hard Nakotomi

Min req: PII 300mhz 16meg video card

Ive got a athlon 2200+ and a gf4ti4200 yet its sluggish as hell during the game

anyone know whats going on ?

We need alot more details to try and help with this problem, ex.. What OS, What's the rest of the hardware in your system, how do you have your pagefile setup, are you running any other apps. at the same time is the game? ect... pls give more detail and we'll see what everyone can come up with.

Running WinXP and 512 DDR 333
Got 1gig in the pagefile

Well thats some more good info but we also need to know if you have any other programs running, where does the game slowdown, have you tried anything so far? do you have problems in any other games and what version of the det. drivers are you using... ect... more details =), also do you have the latest Agp / chipset drivers for your motherboard? Hope this helps...

No, no other programs running, but even if I had some running wouldn't make a difference with a 2200+

I play UT2003 with programs running and it plays smooth as..

I have the 30.31 detonator drivers , 4 in 1 drivers everything

Im thinking theres a huge bug in the game because all my other games work beautifully

Welp based on the info so far I'd have to agree it's prob. the game, although you might want to try to update to the latest Det. drivers and see if that makes any diff., you might also want to check in the game if it has an options / settings tab that you could adjust for performance. Sorry I couldn't help ya more, and good Luck with your game

Try disabling sound card and see if that makes a difference.

If it does then lower your sound acceleration to fix it.
