i am have trouble with the pine8x(hitachi 7000 make) dvd.

i dont know what this problem is called but it will not refresh/read cds/dvd it keeps the image/files of previous cd. when i change cds it gives me a bsod "system halt please put in xxxxyyyy(the cd that i took out) cd in E: drive and press enter or esc to to retry .......". i have to restart inorder to swap cds.

i have disbled dma and auto insert. is there a firmware for this drive that may fix this problem
