Is that a genuine P60? Socket 4? I hear they're in great demand on the collector market.🙂

Yes. It is a socket 4 chip. As I am not positive that it is a real Pent 60, I'll list the numbers. I know someone on here will be able to tell.


On the Pin side the markings read:

94296336AB
Malay 445 R
Intel m c 1992
A80501-60
SX948

On the other side:

A80501-60 sx948
ICOMP index = 510

The slug is obscured by a heatsink that is attached by Tape or some other adheasive. The machine was given to me a few months ago.

If they are a collector's item now, I guess that we are in business.

🙂Now I just have to figure out how to rig up a fan for it. the tiny one that was on there died and this chip runs HOT without the fan on it.
 
All I can say is that once you get to page 2, the numbers seem to be much higher to surpass...And the active members on that page are much greater in force🙂....

Made page one a few days ago. Still haven't heard much from the assimliations I made. I think the ini I sent out might not be configed correctly.

They are using the new client which has a diferent config set up than the previous client. Anyone know what the settings should be to frequnetly flush over a dsl connetion is? I know how to set it up for dial up but not sure on the dsl.
