Well, I am leaving my current position with the university for a position that falls under my degree (I graduated in May). This means I lose my P4 3.0 HT cruncher.

20K is only going to take longer to reach. :(

Sitting at 18,276 right now and averaging about 26 per day. That will be cut in half though once I lose this machine.

Minendo I humbly apologize

The prescott went down (sata controller and hdd errors)

seems the controller is not working correctly, It has 2 so I backed everything up I could off the raid array and formatted rann tests wrote zeros and partitioned the drives. formatted them and loaded windows.

I should have it running seti shortly...Sorry for the delay

Mike

Ok downloading wu's now...Finally have both computers running it now (running it right that is)

update:

I have the exact problem with no glitches found in software but i am getting the click of death from at least one drive
it keeps dropping the controller and i have now tried both.

I won't be on much untill i can get it fixed.looks like 2 weeks before i can send the hdd's and mobo off for replacement
