Ok, I'm having problems with Anandtech. When the topic is decently long (more than 10 replies or so) scrolling slows down ALOT. Even when I try to copy something, it takes awhile for the highlighted section to appear. Ive looked at other forums and it doesnt seem to happen on them. I've checked for virii and spyware - but no luck. I've also defragged, cleared cache and no luck. Anyone have any ideas whats going on?

Thanks

I'm using IE 6 and I'm running on a cable modem. Nothing else seems to run slow (games, etc)

Some other weird things that happen - when i put my cursor over the section listings (home, about, forums, mobile, etc) on the start page of anandtech, it takes awhile for each of the sections to highlight.

Do you run a messaging client? or kazaa? those to can sometimes rape your cpu cycles. I would download opera and get trillian and go kazaa lite if you have those programs.

I run both - but they're not on right now. Plus, this problem only started happening somewhat recently. Its not a memory problem either, I have 768 MBs running on this baby.
