So I just build a new computer and I have noticed a coupon of problems, first it was the BSOD and now it's the slow startups. When rebooting my computer it pauses at the colorful Gigabyte Touchscreen Bios thing for about 30 seconds and when it gets to the black windows 7 screen it pauses for another 30-40 seconds before the 4 colors from the background come up, then it takes another 30 seconds while the blue windows is loading screen to finally see my desktop. My old computer was Intel core 2 duo E3110 at 3.50 ghz and with only 4 gbs of ram loaded much faster, about 35-40 seconds total.
Here are my specs;
Intel 2500k 3.3ghz to 3.6ghz
gigabyte z68A-D3-B3
GTX 560 TI
g.skill ripjaw 2 x 4gb ddr3 1600 9-9-9-28
750gb WD HDD
Corsair TX650 V2
Windows 7 Ultimate
Everything is left at stock speeds and the bios is also untouched except for the ram timings (changed from 11-11-11-29 to current 9 9 9 28 as advertised). I don't think this is normal for my new computer to take twice as long as my old computer to boot into windows. Any ideas?
