Slow On Board LAN performance

I have K8N Neo Platinum, nforce 3 250 chipset. Problem I am having is poor network performance. When I transfer file from my computer to other computer, it works great, but if I try to get file from other computer, it is VERY slow. So fast upload and slow down load for home network, but internet speed is regular speed. Any suggestions?
