Hi im running a a64 3200+ with 512 megs 3200 ram and blah blah blah. Basically letting you know my computer isnt slow or anything. And i have cable for my internet connection. when browsing or downloading files using IE or Firefox i get really slow speeds. It avgs to about 40k/s. But when i download using BT i get a good 200+k/s.
I have NO clue as to why my internet browsing speeds are so slow!!! Ive turned off the firewall in xp sp2. but of no avail. ive even tried the connection limit fix and increased the number of connections from 10 to 100. But still nothing. Anyone have any suggestions?
