Hi all,

Really weird problem here...

The following situation: i have a w2k server with 2 client machines. The server has 2 NIC's one connected to an ADSL modem (10Mbit) and the other one to a 100mbit switch, on the switch the other 2 client machines are connected also.

the server is setup as an DNS,DHCP and RRAS server, that routes my local network to the internet via the ADSL modem.

When i copy a file from a client machine to a client machine, nothing is wrong, i get transfer rates around 8MB/s, but if i copy a file to the server then it seems the files are routed over the ADSL modem and back again, because transfers lie around 1MB /s.. ?!

So it seems that RRAS is dumping all my packets which are not for the internet still over the ADSL modem connection.
I'tested with SiSoft Sandra the throughput from client to server and vice/versa but the program says it a full 100Mbit connection. but still copying of files is terrible slow.
