For some reason, when either me or my wife email my gmail account, it takes several hours for the email to arrive. Like yesterday, my wife emailed me something at 2pm. I got home from work and she complained that I never wrote her back. I told her I never got the email. So that night we did some tests.
I got instant delivery to gmail from another gmail account, from my verizon account, and from hotmail if I sent it through outlook express (Does that go through hotmail or does that go through my local pop account?). Emails sent via web hotmail from my account and my wifes account never arrived.
This morning I got into work and checked my gmail account. The test message I sent myself from hotmail at 9:30 last night arrived at 2:19am. The test message she sent me from her hotmail at 9:30 last night arrived at 3:49am. The email she sent me from her hotmail at 2pm yesterday arrived at 7:19am this morning!
This isn't the first time either. So is hotmail intentionally delaying gmails, or is this a gmail problem, or what?
