I got a hold of an extra Duron 1 ghz, and I was wondering if it were possible to get it running on a Epox EP-7KXA. I thought that they sold slocket devices which physically enabled this, but am unsure. I tried looking for such a device on pricewatch, but only came up with ones for Intel's Slot 1 interface. Please let me know whether it is even possible (the mobo can support it) and where I might find slocket devices to do this. Thanks in advance..
BTW... the board is the first generation VIA chipset for the Athlon classic, the KX133.

No way. Two reasons, (1) Socket A slot adapters proved technically impossible, and even if they existed,
(2) VIA KX133 chipset doesn't run anything but the original slot A Athlons anyway - not even the later
slot A Thunderbirds.
