JamesGang: This type of inquiry belongs in the " I Wanna" thread. You may want to take a look

at the rules of the forums. Postings in this particular forum should be actual Hot Deals that

you are sharing with others.

Try posting a WTB in the For sale/Trade forum, I'm sure someone there can fix you up.

Think you want a socket370 to slot 1. Don't think a slot 1 to socket370 is possible.

Why? So he can put a Pentium chip in a Celeron mobo?

I'm just trying to learn about Intel stuff. ;)

He obviously wants a socket370 to slot1 converter, also known as slotkets. Abit made a really nice one called the Slotket!!!, but I think they discontinued it and I can't find a single one online besides on ebay. Other good ones are from Iwill (Slotket II), Asus, and MSI. I wouldn't bother with generic crap especially if you're thinking of overclocking. Sorry I don't know any good deals on any of these slotkets but now you at least know what to look for.

This is going to get locked but I'll try to help. It's really hard to fidn a place that sells slotkets, or at least it was for me. Check out www.champaigncomputer.com. Go to product catalog and click "Processors". There you will find the "Microstar 6905MASTER Converter" for ~ $11. I think that's a pretty good deal on this as they are sometimes difficult to find. I ordered a PIII 866 and the MSI converter from them and I can say they are reputable.
