I'm getting this problem too, especially when trying to post. Everything else on the intarweb works just fine.

Same thing. Slow with occasional bursts of almost normal. It seems to be this site only (ruling out most 'other' reasons).

Slow-notslow-slow-notslow. I'm getting this both from work and from home. Different computers, different net connections.

Rather than just saying "Slow", maybe you should post your ISP, browser, general location. Spotting a correlation in problems requires data.

Site's working reallly fast today.

ISP at home is wi.rr.com (Time Warner - Roadrunner in Wisconsin). Work ISP... don't know but a traceroute goes through networkgci.net first, then us.above.net.

Been really slow for me today, and it is usually my ISP, however all the rest of the websites I visit have been very quick.

ISP is Grappa, which is a radio "broadband" service.

Extremely slow here. There's a lag time of 30-60 seconds before it quickly loads the entire page.

Firefox 3
ISP: Roadrunner Lite through TWC.
Northwest Pennsylvania

They're sucking for me. Really slow.

I went to another forum and it was fast. I use IE and have DSL, eveything else is quick but AT.

There has definitely been some new problem during the last day or two. The site is usually okay but occasionally becomes extremely slow to load anything. It's happening as I post this. I'm on Comcast in New Jersey.

Alright, problems have been periodic and repeated as traffic overall has really been up on the sites. We're facing behind the scenes technical issues all over everything (not network though, just software related and/or hardware restrictions), so just so you know it's not forums or fusetalk related, but other things for once! hehe.

We're doing our best with the conditions/power we have to resolve the situations when they occur as quickly as possible. Right this moment traffic is up more than 2x the average due to yet another big article today. This has been "the norm" for about a month or so now as the main site keeps getting hit with big articles and traffic. It is holding up extremely well today figuring the resources available. I just wanted to chime in to help clue everyone in on what's going on.

So don't worry, things are being worked on and we're always aware of the issues almost immediately when they start. The sites grown to nearly 1.5x the traffic on average (from already being freaking huge!) in a short period of time so we're facing some unexpected growing pains.
