Thats BS. The site has been slow for a coupla days, today was exceptionally bad so lets get off the soapbpx and save the mumbling for other things shall we?

There's been a very noticeable slowdown here since about 3 months after the switch to vBulletin.
I thought it might be the Greasemonkey scripts i'm running but disabling all those & any other addons for FF does nothing to improve the speed here.

I'm on dial-up so i don't expect things to be fast but like i said, it is very noticeable.
Others site i normally visit are fine over the same period.
 
Site traffic is through the roof today for Anand's iPhone 4 review. Even though the forums are on a separate set of servers, the sheer load tends to eat up AT's bandwidth, dragging down the forums with it.
