I've heard that there is a way to make a ppga sloket so that a fc-pga will work on the sloket, but I cannot seem to find anything about it. Anyone have any ideas or maybe a link?

for 10 bucks you can get one that does both. I dont know if searching for one solution and attempting to burn some wire is worth 10 bucks to u
 
I totally agree. Whatever rumor you saw about getting a PPGA slotket adapter to take a FCPGA coppermine, I'd forget it.

For all the trouble and potential risk, I'd spend the $10-$15 and get a legitamate FCPGA slotket!
