Slocket Degradation?

Any help would be appreciated...

I just bought an Intel OR840 board and I want to put 2 Intel slot 1 processors on it... Or do I?

The price for the Flip Chip processors is quite a bit lower than the slot 1 processors. Are there any issues with compatability or performance degradation using the FCPGA w/ a slocket? I'm not overclocking.

Still a slot is a slot, over a period of time I would shut down and reseat the "slots". Also if not OC`ing I would not worry about the cpu config to much... But for upgrades they are a dying breed...
