slk900 vs. alx800 vs. stock

hey, right now i'm running my barton 2500+ @ 3200+ using the stock hsf. my max temps are around 54-55C under load, but i was considering getting a new cooler (for peace of mind, and to push the OC more). i've heard/read the slk900 is one of the best for the barton, but is the $40 worth it over the $25 alx800? i only have pc3500 ram, so i don't think my OC will push *too* high.. would i be ok with the alx800? it would definitely have to be a big improvement over the stock hsf i assume

get a silent boost. the heatsinks you are talking about are great, but do not have a fan. calculate the price of a fan, and it gets expensive.

most of the fans i've seen are around $7.. so say $32 for alx800 and fan vs. silentboost k7. which would be cooler? quieter?

silentboost, although i have a slk800a myself. reason being that silentboost was not availble when i bought it. zalmans are great too
