Dang, I was getting ready to order a fan for the 947u and I saw somewhere this HS won't fit on my mobo w/o a "NEO Backplate"

Is that right?

I didnt buy the Neo backplate. Instead I took the heatsink to a bench grinder and removed the 2 extrusions on the sides of the black plate of the heatsink. Perfect fit now.
BTW, i have that mobo as well.
