I have the 800, not the 900 but I use an Antec 92mm Smart Fan volted down to 7v.

Not sure of the CFM at that speed but at full 12v and max temp it is supposed to turn out 43 IIRC. You can hear it at 12v but the sound is not as annoying as the 80's and nothing like the smaller fans.
 
Got a SLK-900/80mm tt smart case fan2 on a 1.8a @ 2.7Ghz.
Temps from 3x- 59. Depends on load and fan speed. Near silent while surfing etc and like a hairdryer on medium when all 4 case fans are on full and the cpu fan is on full.
Nexus rhoebus that goes from full to off and the cpu fan goes from 1700 -4xxx rpm.
