Slipstream SP2?

I have 2 licensed Windows XP CDs, one has no SP and the other has SP2. Can I just use the second CD to install and then use the CD key from the first CD or do I still need to slipstream the first CD?

You should be able to use the key from one on the other then. OEM keys will not work with retail CDs (and vice versa), but retail keys will work with any retail media.
