Slipstream SP2?

I have 2 licensed Windows XP CDs, one has no SP and the other has SP2. Can I just use the second CD to install and then use the CD key from the first CD or do I still need to slipstream the first CD?

Are they both retail copies? Or is one an OEM version?

They are both retail copies.

You should be able to use the key from one on the other then. OEM keys will not work with retail CDs (and vice versa), but retail keys will work with any retail media.

Thanks. That will save me the time and hassle of creating the slipstream version or running the SP2 CD.
