slim vga coolers?

Hey there anand best and brightest. I've got a ati 5870 I'm tinkering with. I've already re-done the paste, which helped alot with both noise and heat. In game my temps stay below 70 with 35% fan speed. This is fairly quiet and cool but I want more.

I'm looking to take it to the next quieter level. The Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo II I think would be ideal except it takes up 3 slots. I need the 3rd slot for my wireless card.

I've done a bit of looking around but am not experienced with VGA coolers. Are there any that don't cover 3 slots?

I've also looked at just ripping the stock shroud off, pulling out the stock fan and strapping a slim 120mm fan to the stock cooler. Any modders out there who've tried this and can guide a vga cooling noob?

I'm scared of watercooling for several reasons. It's expensive and I'm working on a slim budget. It would be dangerous, for me, becuase I am a catalyst for murphy's law. I've got an oldschool notion that you don't even set your drink near your box, much less put a fishtank inside it.

I've been watching and learning though.....just don't think the time is right yet for me to try that.
