Hmm to bad, I just sold two P6STP-FL Flex Boards that I had last week. You are right though, they work well with that case. This place has the P6STP-FL for $55.00 The P6STP-FL's have 2 PCI slots compared to the P6STP-FN's

BTW, ECS has a new version of that board that is compatible with the Tualatins P3's and Celerons along with the C3's P6FSTF

I found plenty P6STP-FL boards on pricewatch, but not a single -FN board. My only concern is that P6STP-FL does not explicitly state that it has a SPDIF-out connector, while P6STP-FN does. They both are using the same audio chipsets. Can you confirm whether or not P6STP-FL board has SPDIF-out?

I saw P6FSTF board on ECS site, but again it doesnt list SPDIF-out even though it does have the same sound chipset as the above boards....
I really like SIS chipsets, but I really wish they would integrate their SIS315 videocard on one of their boards....

What about -810 board sold here? Look for item 827653 -- includes video, audio, LAN for $39.

Edit: This one does not have TV Out. Same is true for P6STP-FL. Looks like P6STP-FN is the "one-and-only TV-out blessed"

The only bummer is no TV-out or SPDIF out and only one PCI slot.....
so my only options are to get can get a good sound card and VGA-to-TV box...... but that adds up to the price...
also, shipping is $13.....bummer :(
I wish I would find Shuttle FV-24 board somewhere for less than $100.....

Has anyone considered the Abit NV7M MicroATX Nforce board for this case?? I wonder if the PS could be yanked and a moded 340W ps put in it's place??

Also, Anyone have a link to this case with more detailed specs??

Biostar M6VCF at Compgeeks for $29 is a very good and very cheap MATX motherboard.
It only works with socket 370 CPUs up to 1Ghz however... I got one for the kids and have had NO probems whatsoever

I dont think that biostar mobo supports celerons faster than 800mhz, that kinda offsets its low price because you dont have an option of buying a cheaper cel1.1ghz as opposed to more expensive P3.
I got a chaintech 6via5 mobo with agp and 3 pci slots for $39 at a computer show this weekend. Add a $62 celeron 1.1ghz, $35 256mb ram(got it 2 month ago), low-profile ati radeon 7000 agp for $69 and a $17 low -profile SPDIF sound card and you got yourself a nice and capable slim server/htpc

Wouldn't be worth just getting shuttle sv24/25 instead of going through all these troubles?? I know it's a little more but sure beats the hassle and risks.

Where did you get that $17 Dollar low profile SPDIF sound card at vladgur?

I've got that Biostar M6VCF Board from CompGeeks running in my Cybermax right now. It's running a P3 850 @ 1.13ghz!

Well, according to my calculations, I got a board for for $39, a geforcemx with tv-out for $48, case for $20. so thats $107, where as the cheapest I could find Shuttle sv24 for was about 224, $100 more. So for $100 less I got a better video card, plus 3 pci slots instead of just 1. And fits nicely in my Audio rack...now where's that can of black paint....

Right here

Congrats with the board, how are you dealing with the heat and 145watt PS while overclocking? I looked at that board, but it was not expandable at all....so I passed

By the way, for those looking to get a low-profile video card in that thing(albeit AGP). newegg has a radeon 7000 OEM with TV/out and Leadtek Geforce2 MX200 w/TV out. They both cost around $50 each...

Plus from looking at its pictures I concluded that ATI TV Wonder that they're selling is also low-profile

Well, the systems is finally setup and assembled. I just realized: its a bout the size of Apex AD-1500 DVD player. It louder than I would want, but eventually I will invest in silencer fans.....

On another note, Radeon 7000 is totally lackluster as far as 3D performance is concerned, I havent run any real-life benchmarks like QUake or Unreal, but in 3DMark 2001 in 640x480 and 16-bit color, it stutters during demo and give me 10-12 fps on the average during the game benchmark...It may have something to do with the lousy drivers that ATI is known for, but its totally unacceptable. S-Video output to my Sony Wega is great though. Anyhow, I just placed an order for LeadTek Geforce2 Mx200 with S-Video out at newegg and my Radeon goes back to Frys.... Im back to NVIDIA camp.....

By the way, according to Sandra Benchmarks, Celeron 1.1GHZ outperforms Athlon 1GHZ and PIII 1GHZ in both CPU and Multimedia categories...Not bad for a $62 processor....I dont think I will need to overclock it for a while....

Tell us something that we don't already know. What it is better than is any integrated Video on any P3 Motherboard. The Geforce2 Mx200 is a better Video card though if you are looking to use the system for a Lan Box. I prefer the Svideo from the Radeon 7000 to that of the Geforce2 Mx200. Wish I had a Wega to hook it up too:)

intel D810EMO Update:

Got the board yesterday (man, it's tiny!) and did a quick test (used P/S and CPU from my GW6400). Works just fine with P3 933MHz (133FSB) despite Intel's warning "733 is the limit". If you are considering it, beware:
1. It's "legacy reduced"--i.e. no floppy, no PS2-style mouse/keyboard. Boots fine from Sux98 CD though :D
2. Only 1 PCI slot, 1 DIMM slot (bummer, I have 2 64MB "unused" sticks)

But the advantages are great:
1. It's flex-ATX (even smaller than micro-ATX)
2. Sound, video, LAN, all 4 USB uncluded (u-ATX usually do not include front bracket)
3. Does not require keyboard to boot--big plus for HTPC

Why, why I went to "Computer Surplus" so late... :(

...Need to find case/videocard with TV-out...
