In a search to find something neat to play with, I came across this:
http://www.slimdevices.com/pi_specs.html

It looks to be really cool... something that I could use either with my home system in the living room or a radio out by my pool. I'm just curious if anyone has used them or not and what your opinions are on it.

Sounds cool. Much better than my X10 setup that would interfere with my wireless network.

I'd go for one of the wireless radios available now. Why pay $199 for just the box?

If you're feeling the hunger for a music-capable toy, a Dell Axim X30i is only $266 (see GottaDeal com) -- MP3 playback on my X3i is good quality, though the amp is a little weak (like many flash-based players).

If you are talking music only there is no point in an Axim. For that price you can get a 60GB MP3 player.

But the movies on my X5 are priceless!!
