Who needs the PCIe for video when there is an AGP8X slot right below it? :) What's really too bad is that there isn't a comparable board with the NF3-250Gb chipset to compete with it. I wonder how the SiS chipset fares in open combat with the NVIDIA chipset?

I guess I should have specified how I'd like them to be compared... I meant at stock speed in such areas as hard disk performance, gaming, etc. :)

SiS is usually competitive@stock speeds with other chipsets in the class, it is overclocking where they are often weak. In all fairness though, they target OEM so they probably place less emphasis on the DIY market than say nV does. Here is a review of the 760+964 Text I would expect the Asus Mech linked is faster yet and it has a newer SB too. Peter is a SiS Guru so he should have some good info for us.

When building budget systems I have used SiS chipsets in the past with nothing but great results so I always appreciate their latest offerings :)

That looks pretty good for the older SiS chipset, one can only hope that the newer chipset will perform better.

I'd still like to see a uATX NF3-250Gb board. I'd build a new system based on it...

Just updated that with the 760 review they did back in April.

I wonder why they're not out yet. Some motherboard have been announced for a while (MSI, Biostar).
