In refernce to what? Do you have a link? Im pretty damn sure they are exactally the same. The generic 6800 is the 6800NU.

I think what's going on is that you are comparing a BFG 6800 vs another 6800. BFG automatically pre-overclocks all of their cards above the standard reference speeds. BFG's 6800 OC is just a brand name for the normal 6800.

The only difference would be a marginally better stock clock speed on the GPU core clock

ok, that answers my question. i had the 6800OC from bfg but didn't know bfg only made the OC.
