SLI woes

I just put togeather my new comp today. Im running a dfi nf4 sli mobo and twin evga 6800'gt's. When I put both videocards in the system and install the sli bridge the comp turns on (beeps like normal and keyboard lights come on and then off again) but there is no video signal. When I leave one card in slot #2 the system works fine, however when I put 1 card into slot #1 it does the same thing as with both in.

*note one card has a dead fan which I plan to RMA ASAP, however when tested alone in slot #2 it still worked.

Potential problems I have thought of:

Insufficent power (OCZ modstream 520w, should be fine)

Dead slot #1

Faulty SLI bridge

Jumpers not set correctly (Have them in SLI mode but the comp behaves like I have them in VGA mode)

P.S. The person who most helps in getting this system working will recieve a FREE geforce 2 card. I know it isn't much but it may help motivate you guys ;-)

Looks like it should be powerful enough. I don't know much about sli systems, hopefully someone will have something for you to try. It sounds like slot 1 is dead to me though.

I got it working. Turns out I hadn't plugged in the little floppy drive connector on the mobo ;-). I think you need to have that plugged in no matter what if you are using SLI.

amdskip, since you are the only one who responded to my post you get the gf2 if you want it. PM me with a shipping adress if you want it.
