I just made a new computer with A8N-sli, AMD64+3200 and Club 3D Geforce 6600GT.
My ide is: maybe in 1-2 years to upgrade a processor and buy aother Club 3D graphiccard.

Do you think the graphiccard will still be purchaseble in 1-2 years?

Thanks, Peter

Hi Peter,
Do you think the graphiccard will still be purchaseble in 1-2 years?
Yes probably.
Main issue to ask yourself will I be happy running SLI when SLI3 or some other graphic solution is available.

I don't see why not. Most of those boards will still be functional after all and it stands to reason that someone somewhere is going to be getting rid of one. However, it's likely that you'll be upgrading to a whole new graphics card if it's a two year down the line deal. It all depends on how powerful the next generation of gpu's are. If it's a minor bump then go SLI, if it's a major bump then you'll likely get a whole new card.

Almost certainly. Check the online stores, R9xxx and GF5xxx series cards are readily available. Those are, what, 3 years old?
