SLI PROBLEM!

My friend just got another video card for sli, they are by the same brand. we installed them fine, and then we get a message saying to enable sli, but when we do so, we get the blue screen of death. i uninstalled the drivers, restarted, installed new drivers, and still had the same problem. Here is his specs:
athlon 64 3200

I don't know much about your components, but I would recommend making sure your friend's mobo BIOS is up to date.

What PSU do you have?

I did flash the bios. His power supply is an Ultra 600 watt. Not sli certified but should be enough for two 6600 gt's.

u havent mentioned if u have installed the sli bridge connector

Ok. I tried installing older nvidia drivers and that didnt work , in the bios theres something called sli broadcast aperature, it was disabled so i enabled it, but still the same problem.
