SLI Nvidia GTX 590, still worth it?

Great explanation, that puts things right in perspective. Amazing how this $1000 card ends up being crumbles in comparison to a $330 dollar card, only 2 years later.

Three years, and it was $700. Having the halo product of three years ago still in the range of $350-500 cards is not exactly amazing progress.
