SLI enabled decreases performance

alright a few days back I had posted something about my half life stress test being shabby with sli enabled but now Ive realized that it is not just HL....all of my games are running like crap with it enabled even UT2K4 looks like shat with sli on yet with a single card it looks pretty damn good even though the 6600GT isnt all that great of a card by itself I dont know if anyone else is having this same issue or not but I cant for the life of me figure out why 2 cards processing graphics could possibly be worse than one:disgust:
 
erm got the little thingy switched for 2 cards and not one? (daft question i know)
maybes its something to do with your bios, u updated it?

could actually be something to do with the video cards bios, so u may wanna update them too!
 
hahah the problem is with sli the drivers need to be customized for each game. so as of right now there are only like 10 games that sli acutaly works with. With all the others games that isnt campatible with sli as of today, the drivers will just run the primary video card. So for those games you only use one card.

Isnt sli a waste!!!!!

Save teh money towrad teh next generation of cards.
