Vista 32 Bit. NF41 evga nforce4 SLI mother board. Lots of power. It did crash on the first install because I tripped over the powercord.

Tried uninstalling driver etc.

Try going into your BIOS and disabling any devices that you wont be using (like serial port,parallel port,firewire, onboard audio, that kinda thing). That may free up some resources..........

It's weird... I tried that, no go..

How can a modern mobo run out of resources??

lol....good question. Maybe take a look in Mr. Device Mangler.......errr...Manager, and see what is going on in there IRQ/conflict wise............??

well, I am going to assume you did check the things I and radical mentioned. when you tripped over the power cord, did anything make a popping noise? you may ahve to reinstall vista again.
