I am planning to get another the matching video card for SLI mobo/current video card. However, I am also currently getting my current video card replace/repair by MSI b/c of overheating.

So need of help of getting an effective cooling system/fan for my SLI cards. My concern is that whatever I get has to fit my mobo but still is relatively quite as well. I'm pulling fans on my hard drives. Yea, I?m just that paranoid now. I?ve lost a number of parts (mostly hard drivers) from heat on my old computer and don't want to lose anything else on this new one. As far as CPU, I'm thing of going

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-K8NXP-SLI
Video card: MSI NX6600GT-TD128E Geforce 6600GT 128MB
Case: Broadway Com Corp 82-4HL

There's lots of active video cooling available. The first one to come to mind for me was the Zalman CNPS700 (I believe) GPU fan. You'll need to get two, but they do wonders for the temperatures of your cards.

Well I can see that you have a 6600GT...and you want to get another one? Not a good idea...two 6600GTs in SLI sees worse performance than a single 6800GT! I highly recommend that you sell your 6600GT and get a 6800GT if you want to upgrade video cards.

ha, apparently i didn't say i was going with a Zalman for my cpu. but since Mrvile says two 6600gt is not as good as one 6800gt then i might just stick with my 6600gt therefore elimating the sli cooling worries.
