SLI and Power Supplies

Nvidia supports like three PSUs for SLI on their site. Can't my Allied 450w can pump enough juice? I'm planning on buying either the ASUS or MSI SLI mobos but I'll have to reconsider if I have to drop $200 on a new Power supply...

It probably can, but it's not "recommended" by nVidia to run with SLI.

It depends on what cards you're going to run. I would assume that you'd be ok if you were going with 6600GT's, but if you were thinking of 6800GT's or Ultra's, you're going to need a PSU with a ton of amps on the 12v rail.
