Doing a quick search of Pricewatch, it looks like 7600GTs go for ~$175 apiece. So for a pair you're looking at ~$350. They aren't worth it IMO, especially with some of the bugs that SLI needs to get worked out. It's great for the most part but there are still annoying aspects of it.
It's up to you whether you want to spend $230AR on a 7900GT or step up to an X1900XT for $355, but those are the only two solutions I'd consider out of the three you gave.

Third: sli is still more "worked out" than xfire
I'd say go with x1900xt. If you have an sli board, still go for it unless you have a large monitor. That way you can go sli dx10 cards in the future, and the x1900xt will be kick ass untill then.

Im gonna save you guys some time and arguments, im in canada, i cant buy from any of the above retailers. The price for sli is actually less than the 1900xt, so, that settles the price debate.
Now, as far as monitor, its a 19" lcd. Nothing fancy, no fast response time, thats it. Now since were talking monitors for a second, what do you guys think of gaming on a regualr tv? like a 27" tube?

Wow. You need to relax and go read a book or something.
First, I never said anything about Crossfire so I have no idea why you think I was comparing it to SLI???
Second, you'll notice I said after a "quick search" of Pricewatch I saw the 7600GTs at $175. Nowhere did I claim that it was the lowest price.
Lastly, could you link to a new X1900XT on Newegg for $330? Cheapest I could find was $355.
I will agree with you though that the X1900XT is a great card, especially if you're going to be keeping it for awhile.

this x1900xt had a $30 MIR a week ago...![]()
About the xfire thing... you just said that SLi had it's kinks, and I was saying it had less kinks than xfire, so you shouldn't worry

Are all X1900XT's created equally? Or can a Sapphire one be better than a Gecube one in terms of performance?
