Sleeping problem

Anyone know a good way to fall asleep? I went "to bed" at 11 pm last night. Haven't been able to fall asleep. It's now about 7 hours later. Still no sleep. I think I'm going to stay awake for the rest of the day. Hopefully tonight I'll be tired enough to actually sleep.

Don't eat after 8ish and remove caffeine from your diet entirely, that may help.

I don't like the days after those kinds of nights. I'm going to bed now. Thanks for the reminder! I owe ya 1:beer:

My whole last 2 weeks has been like that lol....yeah i wish i could get regular sleeping patterns again.

I have a prescription for benadryl. 100mg per night for sleeping. It's not a sleeping pill per se but it does make you drowsy and if you go to bed you will sleep. It stays in your system for 6 or so hours no matter wether you take 50mg or a 1000mg and it's not addictive or harmful.
If you can't get a prescript then just take 2 or 4 of the allergy pills they contain the same amount as I take.

For about 12-15 years I only got 4-5 hrs. of sleep a night. It sucked.

Good luck.

Try exercise, run a couple of miles and do 100 pushups and situps.
Try meditation, count your breaths and lay in a dark room and relax each of your muscles one at a time.

Cut back on the caffiene
Don't eat less than 2 hours before you sleep
Get a good amount of sun on your face
Get some exercise

I think a week or so is the max. Note that when you're sleep deprived, sometimes you think you're awake, you are actually "micro-sleeping". After a few (4-5) days of no-sleep, you could develop permenant damage.
