sleeping in on your day off is stupid

I usually get up around 7:05 (and leave for work at 7:25; work is 5 minutes away.) Today, I was up at 6; day off.

I'm awake for about 10-13 hours whenever I don't have work/school. On work/school days, I'm up 16-17.

Kinda sad, but sleeping in til 12pm is just the tops.

I normally get up at 6 for work. On the weekends I get up at 7:30 or 8, and on weekdays I have off I get up at 6 like usual. As you said, OP, sleeping in on a day off is a waste.

my dog started having seizures and he now gets a pill at ~6:30am daily, so I was up at 6:30 am

Depends what you plan to do with your day off. If you took the day to sleep then why not sleep. If you took the day to muck around, then by all means get up early and muck around.

F that. I get up at 5am for work. It's cold, it's dark, everything's closed and everyone else is asleep.

I stay up later and wake up later on days off.

I watch TV shows I missed. For this Christmas Eve and Christmas, I will be watching Dexter season 5 and 6. Entourage season 8. Weeds season 6 and 7. I will be drinking lots of liquor, chips and salsa, and other foods of the gods.

I normally get up at 5:45 AM and on the weekends usually around 7 AM. I would not call an extra hour and 15 minutes sleeping in.

Havent had a real day off since our vacation in feb. I essentially have three jobs. On my days off from my full time job I put in full time hours in side work.

I do indulge in a 20 min nap everyday day at 1.30. I of course stuff that nap into my lunch but I own the company so whos gonna tell on me to the boss. I even have a extra blanket and pillow in my office so I can take a george constanza nap.
