Sleep....WTF is sleep?

rudeguy

Lifer
Melatonin does nothing.
Tylenol PM has stopped working.
Ambien has no affect.
Buspar slows my brain down a bit.

Can I safely mix any of these? Maybe make a sleep cocktail (nonalcoholic of course)

Buspar sounds like an Italian motorcycle. Why are you so eager to sleep anyway? Why don't you do something with your life?

Take more Ambien and booze.

No booze.

The doc scared me with the Ambien. He told me only to take it once in a great while. Is it safe to take a couple to knock me out?

It is what eventually happens when you lay off the sweet, sweet crack. Just get some excercise on a regular basis and you will sleep better.

So you're looking to trade alcoholism for sleeping pill addiction? 🙁

I took the Ambien a couple times and it didn't do jack.

Doc said that tylenol pm had 0 chance of addiction. Buspar is also non-addictive.

I'm trying to get myself trained to wake up early, but to do that I need to go to sleep early.

the easiest way to do that is to flip it around.

go to bed when you go to bed, but set your alarm clock to wake your ass up at the appropriate time and just be groggy all day.

Shouldn't you be playing WoW?

And you are 100% right. I was hoping to avoid being cranky all day and was looking for an easy fix. I have a ton of work to do this weekend, so that should get me plenty tired by Monday or so.

If one doesn't work, take two. If two doesn't work, take three.
If three doesn't work, then I don't know what the fuck your problem is.

LMFAO

Its anxiety. I don't get the mental "OH FUCK I AM SCREWED" symptoms, mine are all physical. Insomnia is a big symptom and it also guarantees that it will be worse tomorrow.

My melatonin has stopped working recently.

Its torture laying in bed trying to fall asleep. I waste a good half hour just waiting.
