Sleep Mode Question?

When in sleep mode [ PC ] do the fans keep turning? My concern is dust inside the computer when left on.

Nope, the only power to the system should be minimal power to refresh the RAM, and some other minor components. No moving parts.

That's not to say that sometimes there aren't problems that cause incomplete suspend.

My mobo asrock ex 4 z77 has a function that in sleep mode (s4/s5 i think) it can turn the fans on to remove moisture. Now ive never tried it but I assume it turns the fans on for a bit then turns them off. Maybe you have that function turned on and running non stop.

Its unlikely I think but worth looking at.

fans goes off when you put your pc in sleep mode. No other components is working other than RAM.
