The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. I'd gladely host you on a server, just not on a shared account. I've had a few users try this kind of thing by having their sites mentioned on slashdot and digg.com at once -- it wasn't too pretty, so that why they are moving to their own servers shortly.

The after action report promised...

We signed up > 1100 new accounts yesterday. We ussually average about 100 accounts a day, so I'm guessing about 90% of those we'll never see again. Peak simultaneous logins was about 270. We've been averageing about 80-100. Overall, everything survived. No appreciable slowdown noted. Here are some graphs.

Slashdot is #7 (slashdot.org) & #15 (science.slashdot.org) on the referer list, following various direct & local referers.

The user agent logs seem wierd - top 15 are all mozilla or firefox of various flavors, which doesn't seem right.

Even cutting out yesterdays traffic, IE isn't in the top 15.
