Slackware 9 Driver issue

I'm a wee bit new to Linux, but maybe someone here has encountered this.
I'm trying to install the A7N8X driver for Linux using RPM, am getting the error:
Dependency fail:
(insert driver name).rpm requires /bin/sh

I looked and there is indeed an item sh in my /bin folder so am rather puzzled as to why this is happening. Can anyone here please give me some information on how I should properly install these drivers?

I don't know anything about RPM, but I assume you're just running:

# rpm -i file.rpm

Are you sure that you are root? Also, is your path setup correctly?

Bah.
I just found out that you can't install RPMs in Slackware.
Am going to have to resort to alternate means to fix this. Lots of fun.
