I don't mind that it doesn't have voice acting either, Zelda games are all about the excellent dungeons/action.
10/10 says IGN, that's the same score as Ocarina of Time. This looks promising. I'll have to get that gold controller since I don't have a plus controller and I haven't touched my wii in well over a year.
update:Strange Gamespot gives it 7.5. Why? Bad controls. Which is VERY strange cause every other review out there has claimed that the controls are actually one of the most amazing things about the game. Wonder if one of the commenters on their video review is correct, that the reviewer forgot to use Wii Motion Plus? Or maybe there was something wrong with the Wii he used it on? That would be an epic fail if so. Not saying the score isn't deserved just seems odd when every other review sites has been scoring so high (even those that aren't traditionally bought out LIKE Gamespot).
The game doesn't work at all without motionplus.
Yeah that's what I thought. :hmm: Could be he's one of the few telling the truth about the game? Or could be he doesn't know what he's talking about? Either way we'll see when I pick up my collector ED![]()
Not everyone likes every game I guess. He wouldn't be the first person to sh*t on motion controls, pointless fetch quests, the wii's graphics or nintendos production values.
I don't think one bad review should sway anyone when the praise is so unanimous though.
Haha the fanboys are going fucking nuts over this review on Youtube.

Apparently the guy reviewing skyward sword was aiming with the wiimote wrong..lol. That's kind of sad, he just assumed the controls sucked instead of trying to fix it. Anyway this is going to be m first zelda game since I've played ocarina of time, I'm hoping it'll be good.

So... Gamespot has now added an editors note to the review:

Editor's note: This review originally stated that aiming was handled through the Wii Remote's infrared sensor, which is incorrect. The review has been amended accordingly. GameSpot regrets the error.
Is this a simple factual correction or an admission that the editor was perhaps holding not using the controls correctly? :hmm:

Its a simple factual correction. Its kind of ridiculous to assume that a gamespot editor doesnt know how to hold or use a wiimote. Sounds like his gripes went well beyond the controls anyway, and the motionplus can be a real PITA they way it loses calibration constantly.
