I've noticed that I am still getting a lot of texture issues and some pop-in. I hope they get it fixed.

Are dragons random?
I disliked Oblivion and never gave Skyrim a look when it came out. My brother picked it up last week with some Christmas giftcards and I went over to check it out. Looked pretty much awesome so I bought it earlier this week. Up to level 7 with a High Elf and am enjoying it so far.
With the amount of stuff you can do in this game, it really feels like a single-player MMO.
ok so why are mammoths more powerful than dragons. seems really stupid.
level 22. I've been practically sleepwalking through the dragon fights, I guess it gets harder then...

I'm using a 2H nord warrior with heavy armor. I usually have a buddy with me. I've only been killed once by an obnoxious fire breather.
It's probably related to the size of the save file. People have reported similar issues on PC with save files around that size or larger. The 1.4 Patch hasn't been released yet (it's in beta on the PC anyway), so maybe it will address that issue. How many individual save games do you have in your profile? You might try deleting some and see if that shrinks the size of the overall save file and fixes the crashing. My game is starting to crash a lot. I'm 140 hours in and playing on the Xbox 360. I have the latest patch (I can only assume, since I'm always signed into Xbox Live).
When my game crashes it will freeze the image and the audio will cut out. I've noticed that the frame rate is rather poor (stuttering when I do any fast movements) and my save file is getting large (~11-12 MB).
Anyone know what makes the game get really crashy? Better yet: anyone know how to fix it?

I did have a LOT of save files, but I deleted most of them without any improvement in the crashing.
What causes each save file to become larger as the game goes on (my first saves were ~4 MB each, but now they're ~12 MB each)?
Any little change you make to the game world needs to be recorded. Every bucket you knock over adds a tiny bit to that.
I'm a level 100 bucket kicker
i've lost shadowmere somehow. i traveled to an imperial camp, accidently hopped on someone else's horse, got off, went about my merry way to the next location, and noticed that shadowmere wasn't around anymore. i tried fast traveling back to a bunch of different locations and only this new horse followed me. i even killed the new horse and traveled again thinking that SM would just show up. unfortunately this didn't happen.
where does SM go if you accidently dismiss it?
Unless he died. Haha.
Shadowmere thought he would fast travel with me even when I wasn't riding him. Well, an ancient dragon decided he didn't like Shadowmere cheap shotting him while we were fighting, so he grabbed him, shook him to death and threw him into a nearby lake.
