  • I've been sleeping 4~5 hours less than before.

  • I sleep at work, school.

  • Skyrim?, what is it? sounds kinky.

I pre-ordered it and played it for less than 15 minutes since it unlocked. I didn't like it. Have lost minimal sleep thinking about the wasted $60.

None of those poll options are anywhere close to my situation, but I am addicted to the game and spend more time gaming these last several days than I had for months. I have spent 15-16 hours on this game since Friday, which is a lot for me in that time frame.

Yea, none of the choices fit me either. Still get the same amount of sleep and spend the same amount of time on the computer. It is just that most of the time I am playing skyrim instead of surfing the net or going from one game to another. I like the game, but it is not one of those that I can hardly wait to get home to play.

I like the game except for the controls and a glitch that doesnt allow me to sprint with the alt key. I have tried rebinding it and it doesnt help. I must be wierd though, because I liked Oblivion and Skyrim, but could never get into Morrowind or FO3.

I know it sounds like heresy in a PC forum, but has anyone tried playing with a controller? The PC interface is so terrible I have been considering it. Dont want to learn all the controls again though.

I find these forums to be far more entertaining than Skyrim.

I tried it with the Xbox 360 controller (since it disabled my keyboard and mouse) and the controls suck with that too. You keep having to stop and flip through menus.

Still trying to LEARN it all...

...it may be OVERLY complex.

Maybe this is TOO simple, but I liked how Borderlands played as far as an RPG goes...

haha, Borderlands is not an RPG--but I'm with you. as I've aged, I think I've just lost patience with overly complex, too-many-layered massive RPG games on PC, and especially Elder Scrolls. THey are fun for a spell, but then I realize that it's just too damn much to absorb.

I love games like Borderlands now, though. :\

Only just started playing it, but this game fits like an old glove. I'm defintely going to enjoy this game.

Although if I had to choose I'd still take the Fallout games. I like the sci-fi setting more.

Overall, I agree with you, and I dont usually like open ended games. I like to follow a story line and finish the game. However, since there are not any other games out there that really interest me right now, and I have been buying too many games, I have decided to just play this game a long time, not worry about finishing the main quest, and just do a lot of random stuff. That said though, I still find myself getting tired of walking from place to place until I can use fast travel to get there.

And I loved Borderlands too. I think I finished it as all the different character types except Brick.
