Skype for Android available in the Market finally

Needs video chat support! This second camera on my Evo is useless if they don't let me use it on any popular network (GTalk or Skype).

The funny thing about this is, the Verizon version of this app that has been out for awhile is 3G only.

No 4G support + no Galaxy S support = complete fail

4G is often faster than my home's internet connection. If you have it you should be able to use it. But as usual you have all sorts of shitty executive meddling.

Yeah, I wonder if it's possible to have both installed at once.

That would be a yes...

a complete FAIL no calls over 3G only wifi calls, seems like you need to buy verizon and regular version to get the complete skype experience

Shit it's got really bad reviews so far, anyone here who uses it. Does it support a BT headset? I don't care about 3g, and if I could use my Bluetooth with it I might hop on it.

The Verizon version isn't VOIP, it just reroutes long distance calls through skype's servers, ala Google Voice. It's only useful for over seas calls.

Program doesn't work for me, I installed it and clicked on the free trial call. I tried 3 different numbers over the course of 2 days. Every time it failed about a second after I tried to make the call. I see why it's got an average rating of like 2/5 stars.
