Has anyone noticed that Skype is overcharging for calls and connection fees? Lately I'm being charged for rates and fees that are not according to their listed prices.
I started to notice this since two calls ago, but last night was just ridiculous. Their advertised rates to the UK is .024/minute + connection fees of .044. I called and left a brief message which couldn't be more than 30 seconds and .29 cents were deducted. The incident prior to this, I called Vietnam for a few minutes and a dollar was deducted.
I'm thinking they're getting shady with the billing, as I've sent out an inquiry to their Customer Service and have yet to receive a reply. Granted it's pennies, but if people start to notice trends like this, we better stop it before it grows larger. Anyone else experiencing the same thing? If you haven't try to take notice the next time you use Skype to call anywhere.
