The trailer I saw on tv was different. It was like 10 times better. It must have just come out.

I finally saw one of the trailers for this movie. Looks interesting...I'll probably watch it once it hits the Redbox.

I thought this was an ad for Transformers 3 at first. Actually I thought that until they said what movie it was.

I'm kinda burnt out on this type of movie so I'm not all that interested, although I'll probably still watch it at some point.

I'm also baffled as to why Clint Eastwood is making what to me looks like a generic catastrophe (but wait, there's one guy that's special!) movie.

The latest trailer is available there. I just watched it yesterday, and I think it's the same one that was shown during football today.

A completely independent movie, but with big FX - pretty interesting reading about the movie. The people who made it independently from big studios, actual own a famous FX house.. when it was basically finished, Universal was all "we like."
I guess the shooting locations were very, very minimal, and the shooting itself was quite low budget.. a lot of it was shot in an apartment. And of course, basically a cheap cast.

But I want to see it none the less - the idea of the Sirens concept being turned around as invading aliens (who like the way we taste)... quite intriguing. Probably end up waiting for the BD release.

... the acting looks over dramatic, another Cloverfield with Independence Day graphics.

War of the Worlds parody with minimal military cutscenes and a lot of civilian dramatization of the average "stupid" American.

The ships are a rip off of the Starcraft II Protoss air units, and the lightning petals dropping are ripped off from the War of the Worlds lightning ground-implant.

Probably another Transformers II with ingenious trailers and a terrible story line.

Based on the November release, I am going with looks cool but story sucks. My money is on 28% RT score.

I have high hopes for it but I just know inside that it is going to be a dumb story. And chances are that I will never see it. Well, maybe Netflix.

I think it looks interesting. But reminds me of a cross between Independence Day and Cloverfield.

Exactly what I thought, however the first few seconds of the trailers I was thinking Transformers 3.

If you love trailers like i do check out davestrailerpage.com (i think that is it, im at work and cant check). Its a website of nothing but trailers and you can search for old trailers from like the 80s as well. New stuff is always on the main page.

Eh. Looks like a made-for-SyFy movie that got a last minute production budget increase. The cast is a bunch of b-list TV actors. I like Turk and all, but has he been in a movie since Clueless? The lead goatee dude is one of those "that guy" who's had a million roles but no one can ever name them. And don't get me started on Sgt. Batista and his inability to pronounce the letter R.
