i bought a skyhawk case for $169.99 +tax five years ago. i have since purchased numerous skyhawk cases and can honestly say that skyhawk makes really solid, quiet cases.

I bought mine at dealsonic Skyhawk. I think it's better looking than the Newegg deal. It might be a little more expensive, but I think it looks like a true Lian-Li clone. However, 28.99 is a great deal shipped from NewEgg.

Spring the extra $10 or $15 and get a MUCH nicer case. It handles EATX and has a slide out mobo tray. etc.

I picked up one of these cases from Newegg about a month ago when it was $15.99+shipping. When it arrived the front faceplate was broken off, all 6 pegs broken. I called Newegg and they refunded the price of the case, but not shipping. In the end the guy I had picked it up for superglued the pegs back on and is using it as is because the price had gone up to nearly $45 shipped. Since it is back down maybe he will want to replace it now.

All that said it is a good case for as cheap as it is. While not the best looking, in my opinion is looks a hell of a lot better than all those gaudy Xaser's and other crap on the market.

awesome case. you can use it w/o the front panel (behind it is more brushed aluminum) or just peel the green stripe off. light, sturdy, roomy and super cheap. :thumbsup:

I bought this case on the last go around at the Egg. FedEx shipping, not UPS. I wont buy from anyone who ships UPS if I can help it and almost NEVER if I have to pay shipping.

That said this is an excellent buy for the money and looks much better in person than in pics. You will need to add some fans though.

BTW, it was well packaged and unless really abused should arrive in good shape.
