Anyone here go skydiving before. I turn 18 soon, and plan on going. 70 second freefall from 14,000ft, and a 6-9 minute canopy ride, for $160. All this strapped to an instructor of course. Sounds like fun.

My first jump cost ~300USD with a video recording and 12 hours of classes (broken up into 2 days). It was definitely worth the time and money to freefall without somebody attached to my back or my ass attached to the plane.

I was more scared anticipating the jump, then I was of the jump itself. I was scared while I was in the class thinking about the jump. I was scared walking toward the plane - I was even scared when were circling the dropzone at 15,000ft! Once we were over the dropzone and I stood in the doorway, a sudden rush of calm came over me. Best money I have ever spent. It would have been worth it at double the price.

Sounds great! I too would like to do it when I turn 18 this next summer.
