Skullcandy?

I'm noticing these new headphones called Skullcandy showing up in stores. Is it just marketing hype with the cool logo and flashy packaging? Do they suck or are they good?

I bought one of their cheap headphones and didn't like them too much. They're ok I guess.

I saw Skullcandy at CES. Their booth was excessively obnoxious, looked like they were trying to be Urban Audio. They even brought along a couple of terrible unknown rappers at their booth. Overall it was alot of noise and not much substance. I tried out some of their higher end headphones there and I know I would never buy them.

I bought them once, thought they sucked, just compared to the stock apple ear buds too.

I don't think I've ever seen them, but I know some people on Head-Fi despise the company (in fact some more than Bose).
